About Leslee

Thank you for visiting Bold Birth!

My name is Leslee, and I am a certified birth doula and lactation counselor, postpartum doula, and founding member of the Tallahassee Doula Co-Op. I attended my first birth in 2005 and immediately knew I was where I wanted to be – serving families during the birth process.

In addition to doula work and lactation counseling, I am also a freelance writer and editor, virtual assistant to several woman-owned businesses, and an arts and crafts extraordinaire. I also work at Florida State University, my alma mater, and am currently finishing pre-requisits for TCC’s Nursing Program with the ultimate goal to be a Certified Nurse Midwife. My favorite part of this line of work is witnessing the birth of a new family.
